고요한 영혼의 인도자라고 불리우는 여성 뉴에이지 아티스트, 데닌..
서정적이고 신비하며 평화로운 그녀의 음악은 정화와 안식,
그리고 슬픔이 어우러지는 경이로운 뉴에이지 사운드의 음악이다.

그녀는 3세에 피아노를배우고 연주했다고 하며 
일찍히 컨츄리 음악의 메카인 Nashville로 옮겨,
Leon Russell, Ricky skaggs Gene Hughes 등과함께,
칸츄리와 팝음악의 작곡겸 가수로 활동하였다.

1990년경 그녀는 치료음악에 매료되어,
이음악이 자신의 진정한 음악의길이라 하여,
칸츄리와 팝음악계를 떠나, 영적분야의 전문 음반사인
콜로라도의 "Etherean Music"사로 옮겨,

미국 원주민 음악과 문화에 심취, 첫앨범 "Fire Prayer(1991)",
"The Weaving(1993), "Thunder(1994)"를
계속 내놓아 국제적인 큰명성을 얻었다.

1998년에 자신의 회사인 "Woo Way Intuitive Healing Arts"설립하여
치료음악의 취입과 제작을 했다.

1999년에 앨범 "The Farmers Daughter", 2005년에 "Breath Of Angels",
"Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence"을 내놓았는데 지금까지 모두 7개의 앨범이 나왔다. 

그녀는 음반은 맑은 보컬로 땅과 그곳에 사는 피조물들,
환상, 신성한 곳, 회복과 광명 등을 그려내고 있다.

원주민의 북소리와 방울소리 등으로 이루어진 성가풍의 반주 위에
불려지는 그녀의 노래는 전통적인 서구의 민요형식으로 어우러져
여기에 피아노와 신디사이저의 음률이 감미롭게 조화를 이루는 것이
마치 영혼과의 대화를 하는 듯한 느낌을 준다.

특히 음률 위에 Denean의 떨리는 듯한 보컬이 전통적인 멜로디에 섞이는 느낌은
그야 말로 Deneand만이 가질 수 있는 백미이지 않을까 싶다.
