The first noel The angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields where they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night That was so deep

풀밭에 누워있는 가난한 목동들에게 였다네
춥고 깊은 어느 겨울날 밤
양들을 지키며 누워있은 그들에게 였다네

And so it continued both day and night
