때론 조심스럽게 곁길을 걷기도 했었지   
그리고 그보다 더 가치 있었던 것은
내 삶을 내 방식대로 살았다는 것일세.

난 항상 내 방식대로 임해 왔었어

IL DIVO는 아메리칸 아이돌의 제작자이자 전세계적으로 유명한
TeenPop의 대부,'사이먼 코윌'이 웨스트라이프, 가레스 게이츠에 이어
세계를 직접 돌아다니며 정통 클래식을 공부한 네명의 젊은 가수들을
직접 뽑아 창조한 완벽한 4인조 팝페라 크로스오버 밴드이름이다.

 디보(Divo) 혹은 디바(Diva)는 이탈리아어로 신/여신 혹은 영화나 연극에서 
인기있는 주연 남녀배우를 말한다.

이 의미는 무대에서 스포트라이트를 받는 가수들에게도 확대된다.

일 디보는 쓰리 테너의 컨셉을 그대로 유지하되 대중들에게 잘 전달될 수 있는 곡들을 선곡하고 편곡해 노래한다.
게다가 각기 음색이 다른 두 명의 테너와 한 명의 바리톤이 중저음 역대를 담당해

좀 더 다양한 곡이 그룹 내에서 소화가 가능하다.

'남성 중창단'은 클래식이든 대중 음악이든 장르를 불문하고 인기있는 앙상블의 형태이다.
